Week 35

Hello everyone,

What a fast and fun week here in Kawachinagano.

We were really blessed this week and had quite a few appointments so that was really fun. We were teaching these two particular girls and we were talking about who God is and we were teaching them how to pray. You could tell this was something totally new to them, but they were being taught by the spirit. One of them asked if she could write down how to pray because she thought it was so cool we could talk to God. Sometimes I forget how blessed we are to have this knowledge, even the simple but powerful things, that we have a Heavenly Father who loves us, and we can talk to him whenever we need to or need to know what to do.

Another thing, this ward plays PING PONG every week! Idk about you but nothing is more exciting then being in an intense Ping-Pong tournament with a bunch of old men who have been playing for who knows how long. I may get too competitive, but it's pretty fun.

I experienced my first mini earthquake (which is actually surprising), it wasn't even bad. But every one of course messaged us to make sure we were okay haha, Japanese people are too sweet.

Spiritual thought for the week,
1 Corinthians 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. 10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

I loved this scripture! We cannot even begin to comprehend the amazing blessings the Lord has in store for us. But it is according to our love and faith towards him that allows us to access those things. Even though it's so simple, I know we can always find new and better ways to show the Lord our love for him. Whether it's better studying his word, or better pondering about him during the sacrament, or helping those around us. When we show our love to him, he cannot help but provide us help and guidance that will fill our lives with purpose.

That's all for this week, have a great week everyone!
