My goodness, how is it already p day?
Hello everyone,
I hope you're all doing great this week. We had a good week this week, a lot of traveling and pretty dang excited but many good things! We were able to find some new people and 3 people came to church! One just walked into our church, and another was a ward member's cousin, which was so awesome!
It's been so fun to watch members gain the courage and do their own missionary work, they are able to feel the joy of missionary work bringing those closer to Christ!
I honestly don't know what to say for this week, just know that Japan is the best, I know God is watching over my companion and me, and I love being a missionary!
Scripture this week:
3 Nephi 17: (7-9)
"Have ye any that are sick among you? Bring them hither...
And it came to pass that when he had thus spoken, all the multitude, with one accord, did go forth with their sick and their afflicted, and their lame, and with their blind, and with their dumb, and with all them that were afflicted in ANY manner; and he did heal them every one as they were brought forth unto him."
We have the knowledge that if we come into Christ we can be healed. No matter what affliction, trial, sickness, or hardship we have, he has the power to heal, uplift, and bless.
But what I loved was Christ asked them who was among them that are sick. Who in their neighborhood, friends, family, work, school, is afflicted and needs his love?
Those people in our lives may not understand Christ's power, but we do. And we like the Nephites, can bring them unto Him, and they can experience His healing it for themselves as well.
