Week 30

Sorry, everyone, this week is going to be pretty short. BUT Abeno is as great as ever, and we are just seeing miracles left and right.

Fun things from this week:
We had 4 PEOPLE COME TO CHURCH, it was a little overwhelming but it was so great. The relief society was basically screaming for joy when they saw us all sitting together in church.

I made okonimiyaki all by myself, which is a really popular Japanese meal.

We have been really trying to focus on temples and families. This week we were able to help 6 ladies in our ward find names and help them prepare for the temple! This is such a blessing because genealogy work is really hard in Japan and because a temple is so far most people don't think about doing their own work. But it has been so fun seeing people's faces light up when they find an ancestor or a name they can take!

We went to a super cool aquarium in our area, and I touched a shark so that was cool.

Sorry, this week's email is so bad, but I just wanted to share a really awesome quote I found from general conference!

"You can pray with confidence for the Lord to lead you to love someone for Him. He answers the prayers of meek volunteers like you. You will feel the love of God for you and for the person you serve for Him. As you help children of God in their troubles, your own troubles will seem lighter. Your faith and your hope will be strengthened." - Henry B. Eyring

This week I have really felt that! Every day we pray to know who needs our help or Christ's love and it's amazing to see how they really did need that visit or help that day! There have been multiple times where the relief society will ask us to visit someone that we had visited that day! The Lord really is aware of all of us, and when we act as his servant to help those around us, we really will feel the most joy!

Love you all, have a good week!
